Email Notification
- email hold pickup notices are sent on the day the hold becomes available
- 2 days before your items are due, we will automatically renew your eligible items. You will receive an email confirming the items that were renewed
- 2 days before your items are due, you will receive a courtesy email letting you know which item(s) could NOT be renewed
- email notices are sent for overdues
- email notices are sent for bills
Mail Notification
Print notices are only sent through the U.S Postal Service when you have NOT selected any other means of notification.
We ONLY mail notices for:
- overdues
- bills
Phone Notification
Phone notifications are only available for:
- hold pickups
- overdues
- bills
When you receive a phone call, your caller ID will say “Local Library” from a toll-free number. The automated pre-recorded call will try to reach you and leave a message, or try calling up to three times if you do not have voicemail. This system only calls between the following hours:
- Monday – Friday 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
- Saturday – Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Text Notification
- text hold pickup notices are sent on the day the hold becomes available
- 2 days before your items are due, we will automatically renew your eligible items. You will then receive a courtesy text letting you know which item(s) could NOT be renewed and are due in 2 days
- Text notices are sent for overdues
- Text notices are sent for bills
