SCORE mentor and attorney Fran Zollers will examine the various forms of business organizations and their characteristics with an eye toward analyzing what types of businesses and how the goals of the founders may dictate which form of organization to undertake. The workshop is for those who are considering beginning a business or who are in the earliest stages of forming a business. Part 1 of 2: AARP Smart Driver is the nation's first and largest driver safety course designed especially for drivers age 50 and above. The course covers defensive driving techniques and provides tips for adjusting to the normal changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time associated with aging. Participants will learn about current rules of the road and how to operate their vehicles more safely in today's increasingly-challenging driving environment. A participation fee of $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members includes a guidebook. Attendees pay the instructor directly.
