Grand Re-Opening Celebration

The festivities will kick off with a grand re-opening celebration including a ribbon cutting ceremony, guest speakers and dedications. The grand re-opening is the culmination of a renovation and expansion project which began in 2019.

The Loft 

Stop by and visit this brand-new destination for high schoolers: a teen center in the Library! The Loft will feature ample room for you to study and/or use our computers, whether you’ve got homework to finish or just want to chill with your friends. Board games, video games, comics, books and more will be shelved inside for your pleasure if you need a break. Located on the second floor and named after the original teen space, The Loft is the first official teen-only area in the entire Library. The Young Adult collection and a staffed Research & Reading desk is just outside the room, making it the perfect place to go after a long day of school. Come visit this exciting new space.

Outreach Services Library Van Tour

Did you ever wonder what is inside the Library van? In celebration of the grand re-opening, the Library van will be open. Stop by to have a look inside and learn about senior services. Activity kits will be provided featuring a timeline of the Library’s history as well as activities to all senior facilities to engage and include them in the grand re-opening of the Library.
