Make a difference in your community and volunteer at the St. Charles Public Library. Volunteers from all ages, backgrounds, and skill sets support, supplement, and enrich the Library’s effort to serve our St. Charles community.
Our Adult Volunteer Program is open to persons 18 years of age or older. Volunteers work in a variety of departments assisting Library staff and enhancing library services. Volunteer must complete an application, with references and give written consent for the Library to conduct a criminal background check. Questions? Contact our volunteer coordinator, at [email protected] or 630-584-0076 ext. 228. Applications are available in the admin department or fill out the online application.
If you attend high school or the homeschool equivalent of grades 9-12, apply to be high school volunteer! Volunteers help with shelving and pulling materials, using the Library catalog, working from reports, and more. You’ll earn service hours, gain experience for your first job or add to your college application!
