Study Rooms
The St. Charles Public Library has five study rooms, available during regular Library hours. These provide an ideal space for individuals or small groups to collaborate or work on projects. Please contact the Welcome Desk at 630-584-0076 ext. 210 to inquire about availability.
- These rooms may be reserved for free by St. Charles Public Library cardholders in middle school and older.
- Study room use is limited to a two-hour time period per day.
- Available on a walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance.
- There is a fee of $5.00 per hour with a two-hour maximum for non-St. Charles Public Library cardholders.
- There is a separate study room for students and tutors of our Literacy Volunteer program. This room includes a 42” flat panel display and a 10’ white board.
- Study room reservations are released for “no shows” after 15 minutes into the reservation time.

Located on the main floor in the Carnegie Room. Accommodates one to two people. Available on a walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance. Study Room 2
Located on the main floor in the Carnegie Room. Accommodates one to two people. Available on a walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance. Study Room 3
Located on the main floor near the Technology Help Desk. Accommodates one to four people. Available on a walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance. Room includes a 48″ flat panel display and a 14′ white board. Bring your own device; connect wireless or via HDMI cable, or log into our Public Computing image. Maximum capacity: 4

Located on the main floor across from the Technology Help Desk. Accommodates one to four people. Available on a walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance. Study Room 5
Located on the main floor near the Restrooms. Accommodates one to 10 people. Available on a walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance.
