Donation Drives
Thank you for your interest in using our lobby for your donation drive. To help us process your request, please review the following information thoroughly before submitting a request.
- Requests should be submitted at least one month in advance and can be made a maximum of six months in advance.
- All donation drives must be approved by our administrative team. The Library has sole discretion to withdraw approval of a donation drive at any time. We are not able to approve all requests.
- Lobby donation drives are given space for one box or bin no larger than 2.5 by 2.5 feet and one sign no larger than 11 by 17 inches.
- Organizations must appoint a contact person who can be contacted to pick up items within 48 hours if the bin fills up.
- Space for donation drives is only available to organizations based in the St. Charles Library District. Priority will be given to organizations that have not hosted a drive in the last six months.
- Donation drive boxes can be displayed for no less than two weeks and no more than 30 days.
- The Library does not allow collections of money, books, items that could present a hygiene concern, or expired or perishable food.
