All areas have Internet & Microsoft Office 2016 using Windows10, and printing.

Info Commons - on the main level for high school age and older. EZscan & fax station, copier, iMacs, microfilm/fiche readers, document cameramagnifiers, paper cutter, typewriter, Jumbl 14MP (in storage) & VHS-C to VHS adapter.  Scan & digitize (35mm, 110, 126, 127 Kodak Pocket and Super 8) slides & negatives, 8mm/Super 8 movie positive, microfiche library film & APS negatives, 8mm and Super8 Reels Movie Digitizer and digitize audio cassette tapes to MP3

Technology Center - on the main level for high school age and older. This is a designated Silent Study Area. NO cell phones, drinks or food please. Technology Center closes during scheduled classes. See the computer class calendar to plan your visit and contact Computer Services 630-584-0076 ext. 208 for availability of our VHS to Digital Transfer Station or our Scanning Station which includes the Epson Perfection 4490 Photo scanner and the ScanSnap Image scanner.  iMac with Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 Creative Pen Display.

Young Adult - on the upper level for high school age. iMac, study rooms

Youth Services - on the lower level for infants, K-8 and adults. Copier, Early Literacy Station, gaming iPads, Nintendo Wii

Computers & Equipment for Check Out

Click on the links below for availability. SCPL card holders may place a hold. This equipment is eligible for auto renewal (2 days before the due date) - up to 5 times if there are no holds:

Contact Adult Services at 630-584-0076 ext. 1 to reserve the projection equipment listed below.  Your reservation is held through the first day of the reservation period. The equipment below is NOT eligible for auto renewal but may be renewed once if no one is waiting.  Renewal requests may be made two days before the due date:

Computers & Equipment may be checked out for up to one week, unless noted otherwise.

Equipment may be checked out and returned at least 30 minutes before the Library closes.

Overdue fines are as follows:

  • $10.00 a day for Projectors & Projector Screens
  • $1.00 a day for Kindle eReaders
  • $2.00 a day for all other equipment
