The St. Charles Public Library is looking for a dedicated library advocate in the community to serve as nonpartisan library trustee. This individual will represent the residents of the Library District and will:
- Ensure quality library service
- Practice strong fiscal stewardship
- Determine the strategic focus of the organization
Beginning August 13, 2026, residents of the St. Charles Public Library District are invited to apply for appointment to the vacant trustee position. The appointment will fill the remainder of the current term, which expires in May 2027.
Interested residents should submit a letter of interest and resume to the Board of Trustees no later than September 9, 2026.
The Board of Trustees meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the St. Charles Public Library.
