Legal Notice – Invitation to Bid
For Snow Removal
The St. Charles Public Library District is currently soliciting sealed bids for 2021-2023 snow removal, salting, and icing events on library property.
All questions specific to requests for bids and proposals must be submitted via e-mail. No questions will be accepted specific to any bid or proposal within five days of the scheduled bid opening. Each bidder, by making a bid to furnish the aforementioned, signifies their intention and good faith to enter into a contract with the St. Charles Public Library District should they be awarded the bid.
Description of Work: Snow removal, salting and icing events to be cleared by contractor.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the St. Charles Public Library, 1 South 6th Avenue, St. Charles, IL 60174, Attention: Edith G. Craig, Library Director, until December 3rd by 10:00 am, CST. At 10:30am CST on December 3rd, 2021, the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Library. Bids shall be submitted prior to the deadline in an opaque, sealed envelope marked “St. Charles Public Library – Snow Removal” on the outside. No bids will be accepted after the deadline.
This process will conform to the Library’s “Public Bidding Policy” found on the website, www.scpld.org.
