Small Group & Study

The St. Charles Public Library has three study rooms, which are available during regular Library hours.

Reservations for our study rooms, with the exception of Study Room 1, are now available online. 

  • These rooms may be reserved for free by St. Charles Public Library cardholders of middle school age and older, and by students and tutors of our Literacy Volunteer program.
  • Study room use is limited to a two-hour time period per day.
  • There is a fee of $5.00 per hour with a two-hour maximum for non-St. Charles Public Library cardholders.
  • Available on walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance.

Study Room 1

  • Accommodates one to 7 people
  • Available on a walk-in basis only
  • Exception: Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley and tutors/students may reserve this room one week in advance
  • Rooms may be extended in one-hour increments if no one is waiting. 
  • Please contact the circulation desk at 630-584-0076 ext. 0 to inquire about availability.

Study Room 2

  • Accommodates one to 11 people
  • Available on walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance

Study Room 3

  • Accommodates one to 12 people
  • Available on walk-in basis or by making a reservation one week in advance
