Friends of St. Charles Public Library
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: BOOK DONATIONS & BOOK SALE(S)
The Library is no longer taking used book donations or any items. If you have items to donate, please check with other nearby libraries, other charitable or service organizations.
While the library is under construction, the Friends will be coordinating other fundraisers in lieu of the bi-annual book sale. The Friends will begin to sell books and other items in the lobby of our temporary location at Haines in the fall.

Established in 1979, the Friends of St. Charles Public Library is committed to raising funds in support of the Library for the benefit and enhancement of its services, programs, facilities, staff, and the community it serves.
The Friends meet three times each year in October, February and June. Meetings are preceded by a potluck dinner (no food is currently being served due to COVID-19). Learn more...
Members pay no yearly dues. Membership requirements include attending at least one meeting a year, participating in one activity (i.e. book sale) and serving on a committee if asked.
